Journey out of Madrid with us to Castilla y Leon's shining star denomination Ribera del Duero to learn and taste more about Spanish wine.
We'll show you two wineries, each with different winemaking techniques, and teach you all about grape growing and winemaking.
Your guide is native English who also speaks Spanish is qualified with WSET and is a Spanish Wine Scholar and willbe on hand to translate and answer any questions.
Each visit will be followed by a tasting with cheese and/or jamon.
You'll then have time to enjoy lunch, which we can reserve for you. After lunch, we'll show you the chimneys that serve the underground wine cellars and explain their uses.
You can enjoy the trip back to ask more questions or take a siesta.
Entry to both wineries is included in the price.
