About
We will meet at the appointed time at the main entrance of the Basilica of Begoña, a sanctuary of pilgrimage and place of great devotion in Bilbao.
We will begin by learning the history of the place, its patron saint and its temple. Then we will enter the Basilica to enjoy its main altarpiece, the figure of the virgin and its entire interior.
Then we will visit the Etxebarria Park, where a steel factory was formerly located, and we will reach a hill where we can enjoy a fantastic view of Bilbao. From this point we will see the Arriaga Theater, the church of San Nicolás, the cathedral of Santiago, the Abando station, the Bilbao City Hall, the Zubizuri footbridge by Santiago Calatrava, part of the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum or the Iberdrola Tower.
Then we will go down the Mallona roads, the roads used by pilgrims from Bilbao who visit the Basilica, and we will arrive at Casco Viejo. We will visit the so-called Seven Streets that make up the historic center of Bilbao, where the Cathedral of Santiago, the church of the Santos Juanes, San Antón, the beautiful Plaza Nueva, its many bars and restaurants and the famous Ribera market are located.
The walk will end in front of the Palacio de la Bolsa, where we will say goodbye.

During the experience, suggestions are also made about points of interest that you cannot miss and that can be visited on your own, both for lunch and for a pintxo, as well as to go to shops selling typical items, areas with a more local atmosphere, etc.
